Our goal is to ensure every AI solution we build supports educators and empowers students through secure, ethical, and personalized learning tools.

Our AI features are built to simplify administrative tasks, enhance instructional support, and improve transition management, always keeping teachers, providers, and administrators in control of how insights are applied.

Privacy and Safeguards
Protecting student and educator information is our highest priority. University Startups embeds security and privacy into every product from the start and provides ongoing security awareness training for all employees and contractors. Our AI tools follow rigorous security standards so personal data remains private, secure, and used only for authorized educational purposes.
Security and GovRAMP
University Startups participates in GovRAMP as a Software as a Service (SaaS) provider. Our current designation is Progressing Snapshot, which indicates we are actively working through GovRAMP's security assessment framework for cloud services used by government and public-sector organizations.
A Progressing Snapshot is not full GovRAMP authorization. It reflects documented progress toward meeting GovRAMP security requirements. Districts and partners evaluating our platform can contact info@university-startups.com for additional security documentation.
FERPA and Student Data
When districts use the University Startups platform, student educational records are handled in accordance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) and applicable state laws. We act as a service provider to schools and districts under written agreements. Educators remain in control of instructional decisions, and AI outputs are reviewed before they are used in official student records.
